Territory Manager

Position Description:
A Hillman Territory Manager professional initiates, maintains, & develops solid relationships with retail hardware customers within an assigned geographical territory. The key elements to success are ensuring high-level execution of new sales initiatives and developing merchandising strategies within existing accounts as well as new customer prospects. These sales initiatives and merchandising strategies center around helping our customers win at retail.
Achieves territory sales goals and objectives
Generates sales proposals, plan-o-grams, and new product presentations
Utilizes business analytics to increase productivity within existing key accounts
Maintains consistent ordering call cycles and relationships with existing accounts
Prospect and develop new customer growth opportunities
Works closely with corporate staff to coordinate new program launches and special projects

High school diploma, College degree (preferred), or equivalent work related experience.
Retail or customer service experience with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Sales experience and hardware industry background preferred.
Maintain a valid driver license.
Able to operate a motor vehicle safely and lift 70 pounds.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
