People Operations Business Partner Nassau County, NY Must be able to commute offices in:
Nassau, Queens, Staten Island, Bronx, Brooklyn, Newburgh, Middletown New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a People Operations Business Partner to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation.
The People Operations Business Partner (POBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.
The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
This is an outside position and will be responsible for traveling between multiple locations within an assigned regionSome duties include:
oAct as a trusted advisor to practice leaders, providing guidance on employee-related matters, conflict resolution, and performance improvement.
oAddress and resolve employee concerns and grievances, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
oAssist in developing and implementing performance management programs, including performance appraisals and goal setting.
oSupport managers in providing feedback and coaching to enhance employee performance and development.
oStay up-to-date with HR laws and regulations, particularly those related to healthcare professionals, and ensure the organization's compliance.
oMaintain accurate and confidential personnel records, ensuring data security and privacy.
oTrain/educate staff and management on HR policies and procedures.
oManage/resolve complex employee relations issues.
Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
oProvide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
We require:
oBachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related; Master's degree a plus.
oProven experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within the healthcare industry and specifically with physician practices.
oWorking knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
oSHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
This is an outside position and will be responsible for traveling between multiple locations within an assigned region.
Salary up to $85,000 annually Benefits include Tuition Reimbursement, Health Insurance on day 1 of employment, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long term disability, 401k Plan, generous PTO time, 8 paid holidays (2 floating) and more.
